core strength and improve general conditioning. Bungee cords, as inexpensive and portable as they are, do what costly machines can not. Bungee cords have a capacity to load rotational movements, where machines or free weights can not. Athletes can position the bands at varying angles to attain desired vertical and horizontal loading which enhances functional sports movements.
